SAN JOSE AND OULU FINLAND AGREE TO FOSTER IMPROVED INNOVATION AND PROMOTION

Global Connexus Global Cluster program spurs opportunities to support the growth, development and competitiveness of Oulu technology enterprises

SAN JOSE, Calif., — October 9, 2007 — Global Connexus  today announced that City of San Jose and City of Oulu, Finland have agreed to work together in various initiatives which promote and encourage mutually beneficial relations to foster improved connections for businesses, research organizations and city government in each region.

To celebrate this innovation promotion agreement, Mayor Chuck Reed of San Jose and Mayor Matti Pennanen of Oulu Finland will be meeting at the San Jose City Hall at 11 a.m. on October 9, 2007 followed by a private dinner party at the Dolce Hayes Mansion in San Jose.
